Some neat differences. The wooded area behind the hotel emanates sounds far louder than anything I heard at home. The insects and cicadas and bull-frogs and who knows what-else form this larger than life cacophany. The weather is so humid every day. I couldn't imagine walking around or spending the majority of time not in air conditioned areas. Eff that.

Georgia makes me feel like NY is full of beautiful human beings. Sadly, the two beautiful Swedish engineers are departing tomorrow. I should really sleep now.

So I'm in Vidalia, GA finally. My checked bag did not make it to Savannah though. Very swank hotel room, just wish I had someone to hump in it. Peace.

Holy crap. I realized that with the exception of one day (which I have to go to a wedding reception on) I am going to be out of town from July 8th through July 25th.

Me to roomate: "Laundry day makes for funny hall-way interactions."
Roomate: "Especially when you're in your boxers with two different types of socks."
Arriving at Buffalo Wild Wings: "Oh no, he's locking us in!"
Me: "He's going to have our way with us, again!"

I could see the lines on your face
And your green eyes turn to grey
But I will never see a reason
I should ever go away
You could feel me drive into places
Still unknown until the day
I saw your innocence deceasing
Like a flower in the drain

|We all come back from whence we came
Some days, I feel like life is a momentary break from the still, the silence. You're nursed to independence, others feed things into you, you take what you need, expel out your waste. You grow. You do this on your own, you keep consuming, expelling, consuming, expelling, in some weird vain effort to stave off the inevitable collapse back into inanimate.
Like life's sitting atop a cold, bottomless ocean.. We are all sitting on top, treading water, gasping in these big breaths for no reason other than it just seems to be the thing to do. You've had a taste of the ocean below you, and you've seen many around you fall under and never come back up. You don't know why, but you know you don't want to go there. There's that uncanny knowledge in the back of your head though. The inevitability, the finality.
Not only that, it seems like every day you somehow have another weight tied around your ankles, not only that, you're getting tired and exhausted from treading all this water day and night without rest.. When the combination of the two begin to get the better of you, and you're no longer young (if you're lucky) it just pulls you under for a touch, a quick taste of the things to come. You gasp and gurgle and take in a mouthful or two of water, but manage to come back up, gagging and coughing. This time anyways.

That was amazing! On the drive back from the All Night Eggplant, dropping Justin off, I don't think I've ever seen such a ferocious lightning storm. There'd usually be less than a second between consecutive lightning strikes. It was pretty awesome to see them arching across the sky, momentarily washing everything out in a white monochrome. Fantastic.
